18th July 2024, what a morning. Great excitement.
Penneys certainly know how to do a launch, the party atmosphere was wonderful. Many years in the making and so many people involved to bring it to this stage. Thank you to Emer Higgins TD for attending, showing your support and undertaking the official opening.
This is their first store in Co Wicklow after an investment worth over €4 million by the retailer.
It is located in Bray Central which is our new shopping area, a creation spearheaded by staff of Wicklow County Council and many years in the making. The new shop spans 19,600sq ft of retail space across one floor and has created 100 new jobs. A wonderful addition to the town.
