I've had a number of people ask for details on the planned pedestrian crossing at the Putland Road / Sidmonton Road / Cuala Road Junction. As such please see attached image provided by the Municipal District.
The District Engineer has advised that the contract has been awarded for a full traffic signal installation at the junction. These signals incorporate pedestrian and cycle detection, early start for cyclists and a dedicated pedestrian stage.
Once I receive details on a start date for this work I'll update everyone here and on my social media & WhatsApp platforms.
